You need attention from your customers at any point and in every way. You cannot afford to distract them even for a while as they can be grabbed by your competitors. As a businessman, you must have some talent. You will have to sell your talent to get money. Being a businessman doesn't mean you cannot work. In fact, you can work for your business. Give your services, earn money and use that money to grow your businesses. As the Edmund Burke says

So, keep in mind what Burke said and use this strategy to gain money for your business. Barter is an act where you do something for others and others do the same for you. You are working for each other's betterment. Remember, none can snatch your talent from you and even if you give services to a competitor, still, he cannot think the ideas as unique as you can.
