The Money Myths That Are Keeping You Broke

I've been a freelancer and coach for over 10 years. I've learned a lot of lessons along the way, some of which have been incredibly painful. I'd like to share some money lessons from my experience as a freelancer and coach that may help you in your journey as an entrepreneur.
1) Never take a job because you need the money.
As an entrepreneur, there are many ways to make money, but this is one of the best: When you can afford not to work, don't! When you're taking on projects because you need the money, it's easy to fall into desperation mode — which means lowering your prices (which makes it harder for you to say no) or working longer hours than necessary. The first step toward financial freedom is being able to choose whether or not you want to work at all!
2) Never take a job just because someone else wants it done — especially if they want it done yesterday!
